How long do I have to sign the contract and pay the deposit to book my photoshoot session date?

To officially secure your session date with Jen AB Photography, the contract must be signed and the retainer paid within 48 hours. Session dates are only held for 48 hours once requested. During this time, reminder emails are sent to ensure your booking is confirmed before the date is released.

Where are you based and do you travel? What are your travel fees?

Jen AB Photography is based in Royal Oak, Michigan and is available for travel. For locations over 120 miles roundtrip, a travel fee of $0.50 per additional mile applies for all photography sessions including portraits, couples, fashion, and events.

What happens if weather or unforeseen circumstances affect my session?

If your session cannot take place due to weather, illness, or other circumstances outside of control, your 50% non-refundable retainer will be applied toward a rescheduled date. If a client cancels or does not attend the scheduled session, the retainer is non-refundable.

Can I receive unedited or raw images?

For branding sessions, there is an option to receive lightly retouched images for clients who prefer additional control over final editing, cropping, or presets. When this option is selected, the images are considered delivered as a base creative product and are not to be tagged or credited as final edited work by Jen AB Photography. Pricing remains the same regardless of editing selection, as the session time and creative work are unchanged.

What should I expect after my photoshoot?

Your full gallery will be delivered within 14 days of your session via Pixieset and sent directly through email. You will have 5 months to download and back up your images.

For weddings, delivery time is typically 4–6 weeks depending on coverage and season volume.

For events, galleries are delivered within 72 business hours.
